Benjamin Griffiths is the Yarra Valley Artisan Baker.

A Chef for over 20 years, Ben dedicated himself to learning the craft of artisan baking seven years in and quickly discovered a love. A product affected by many different variables, it’s the balance of temperature, humidity, time, hydration and overall strength and health of the levain (sourdough culture) that he loves, and for Ben, there’s nothing like the level of satisfaction when everything goes just right.

After working in some of Melbourne and the Yarra Valley’s best kitchens, Ben now spends his days hand-crafting good, honest bread in his bustling Wesburn bakery dedicated to craft and quality. Next time you visit, you will see our team using traditional methods and techniques, premium Australian ingredients and fresh, seasonal, local produce to create artisan products we are truly proud of..
